The dashboard panel incorporates instruments, operating switches and control devices which are arranged in a specific layout according to their function to indicate the circuit of the respective device, e.g. the water pump or generator. The layout is designated by coloured plastics strips or sheets applied to the front surface of the dashboard panel. Pref. the layout incorporates digital indicating instruments for read-out of monitored values, e.g. the pump press, a number of manual switches for controlling the various devices and control lights and fuses etc. associated with each of the circuits. The dashboard is designed to be easily understood so that it can be used by firemen not specifically trained for this vehicle.
