The antitheft device for a bicycle air pumps consists of a clamp made in two parts (1,2) which clamp round the pump body (4) and are held together by a nut and bolt (3) sunk into the clamp halves. Each clamp piece carries a ring through which a cycle lock cable (7) can be passed then fitted in the normal way round the cycle frame and between the wheel spokes or round a fixed object like a fence post. This allows the pump to be locked on to the cycle so that it is not necessary for the cyclist always to carry the pump with him when the cycle is parked.
