Fixed grid sieve for pit coal - has double-pronged forks projecting from mesh for effective removal of foreign bodies

The mesh (21) which is formed by the criss-cross rods (12,13,17,18) which make up the sieve is divided up further by the prongs (23,24) of forks (22,22) which are fixed on the rods (12,13,17,18) so that the prongs project up beyond the upper side of the sieve. Each two two-pronged forks (22,22) can be combined into units (20) with the two prongs of each fork having a common apex and the apices of the forks coinciding. Even by using a fixed grid the foreign bodies can be effectively sorted out from the rest of the material, e.g. pit coal.
