Moulding compsns. contain (A) C fibres, coated with 0.05-10 wt.%, w.r.t C fibres, of epoxy resins still contg. reactive epoxide gps., (B) a graft copolymer, (C) opt. further olefin polymers and (D) standard proportions of standard additives. The graft copolymer has melt index 0.01-20 g/10 min. and density 0.908-0.970 g/cc and consists of an olefin polymer, (I), as graft substrate, having melt index 0.1-20 g/10 min. and density 0.890-0.965 g/cc, and of 0.5-10 wt.%, w.r.t olefin polymer (I), of a mono-ethylenically unsatd. carboxylic acid. The compsns. can be pressed or injection-moulded to strong, rigid articles. The use of epoxy resin-coated C fibres increases (a) fibre strength- and (b) elasticity modulus utilisation coefft., e.g. from 32- to 60% for (a) and from 50- to 90% for (b).
