Process control loop with suppression of acoustic vibration - uses compensation by comparing with reference valve and superimposing error in antiphase

Suppression of acoustic vibrations in solid, liquid or gaseous media is achieved by an active process where the interfering vibrations are eliminated by superimposing actively produced vibrations. The amplitude of vibrations in a given region is reduced. The control system functions independently of the position of the interfering source of vibration and independently of the waveform and bandwidth. The vibrations to be suppressed are compensated in relation to a reference value. The resultant vibration is continuously compared with the reference value and adjusted. The system consists of a vibration recorder (1) and a regulating device (5). The regulating device is supplied with the reference value. It controls a vibration generator (3) for the compensation.
