The system moves a reflection light barrier (36), or similar device in radial direction to the kit hole up to the light-dark boundary between the dark mirror and the bright background. Then the barrier is moved along this boundary by an optical follower control. With the stationary target disc (40) the light barrier is moved over two concentric circular sections (36e,36l), whose concentricity is related to the rotary axis containing the hit hole (56). Their radii correspond to the extreme values of the axial spacing of the bright-dark boundary (58). The radial path of the light barrier between both circular sections is halved and forms the distance rate of the hit hole centre from the disc mirror centre (54). Pref. the light barrier performs two circular courses about the hit hole axis in opposite direction during a measuring cycle. The rotary drive for a revolution may start at the moment when the light barrier has reached the bright-dark boundary.
