Gathering and removal of potentially harmful radiation - using hollow casing with earthed conductor attached vertically to source

A method of gathering and removing radiation occurring with electrical and other equipment and detected for example by a biotensor is provided for the safety of those likely to be exposed to radiation in a harmful manner. An elongated hollow chamber (1) is arranged vertically on the radiating equipment and connected via a conductor (6) to earth. The hollow chamber (1) is formed by a casing (2) which has an opening (4) at one end and a plug (5) sealing the other end carrying the conductor (6). The inner wall (3) of the casing (2) narrows conically towards the plug (5). The opening (4) is formed by a radially upwardly projecting edge (8). The conductor is insulating coated outside the casing which is made of plastic or a mixture of plastic and aluminium.
