Water or sewage treatment basins - made of reinforced concrete slabs without use of shuttering

Basins for the many various purposes in a sewage treatment or water treatment plant can be produced in excavated ground from a concrete slab at the bottom and two side slabs at an angle. The soil under the side slabs is contoured by a machine to act as external shuttering if necessary fortified by a layer of guniting. The various basins are pref. arranged in line and with the same cross-sections. Labour and time required is reduced because no shuttering is required.
