The combination comprises a hydro-jet boat chassis with the living accommodation provided by a camping van designed for road use. The camping van is driven onto a platform within the boat hull, with clamping rails (11b,11c,11d) engaging its sides to stabilise its position. The driving force delivered by the engine of the camping van to the rear wheels can be used to drive a current generator coupled to an electrical fan (3a) and/or an electrical propellor drive. The engine exhaust pipe is coupled to an exhaust line formed integrally with the mast of the boat.
