The test unit for electrical experiments has a casing (1) with a rectangular opening at the top for access to four parallel blocks which contain a set of openings (5) into which wander plugs (7) and wires (6) can be inserted. Suspended from the underside of these blocks is a large number of capacitors or resistances (2) forming a range of values, so that different values can be obtained by inserting the plugs into selected openings. The components are selected in accordance with a certain standard, and are arranged in order of e.g. resistance or capacitance. Alternatively a range of transistors, diodes etc. can be attached to the blocks, and information as to their amplification and voltage groups etc. is marked on the top.
