Servo control for automatic transmission with manual override - has separate servos for engaging gears and one common servo to disengage gears

A single control valve operates on the servo which disengages the gears and provides a simple, failsafe operation. The valve operates in conjunction with the clutch control and isolates the gear engaging servos at the same time. The separate gears are fitted with individual servos and the single disengaging servo eliminates the coaxial alignment of the two servos. A build up of servo pressure is also eliminated.
