The switch has a contact slide in the form of a strip moving longitudinally. The slide has conducting paths on at least one side. The slide moves inside a casing containing spring contacts. The slide is made of at least two different types of plastic. The main features of the slide are made by injection moulding using a first plastic (2). The first plastic can be metallised to form the conducting paths (6), the contacts (5) and any through-contacted holes (7). The second plastic (3) fits into the spaces around the aforementioned paths, contacts and holes and cannot be metallised. The advantage lies in inexpensive fabrication.
