The air-bubble massage mat produces a large number of both fine and coarse air bubbles in water, the passage supplying each kind of bubble (2,3) being evenly spaced over the surface (10) on which the user lies. Separate air-supply unions (8,9) are provided for the different kinds of passage. Both of the latter can be on the same side of the mat. The design offers greater simplicity as compared with the conventional one incorporating a selector valve in the mat itself.
