The haymaking machine can be used both for raking and tedding and has tines acting under centrifugal force. A separate set of tines is provided for raking (4) and tedding (3). The set to be used can be selected by a stop ring (1), with hooks (2) holding the tines not required out of the working position. With an alternative arrangement, the sets of tines can be used together for swath turning and wide scattering. Other arrangements may be used for putting one tine set out of operation.
