Part of the sheet piling (2) is cut away below the area where the siphon pipe intersects under water. The system is used for introducing a siphon in water courses secured with sheet piling. The cut piece (9) is lifted out. The bottom part (12) and top part (11) of a unit accommodating the siphon pipe is prepared on land. The section of the removed piece forming the bottom part is then lowered under water, and welded back onto the remaining part (10) of the piling. The pipe (1) is lowered into this. The section forming the top part is lowered onto the pipe, and flanged onto the bottom section.
