The carrier claw, for hanging loads on support sections in an underground mine, has one or more esp. hexagonal-head screws, with nuts, for bracing it to the support section and/or attachment to one or more loading chains. On its screw plate or underside, (44,45) each screw (40) has one or more axial protrusions (47) with pointed or symmetrical cutting edges digging into the counter face of the screw plate. These combine with the plate and other parts (42,43) of the screw, to form a structural entity. A corresponding number of recesses or depressions for this can be provided in the counterface. Protrusions can be trapezoid or triangular radial ribs. This secures the screw from being turned when the nut is drawn, without additional components involved, and no effect on firm hold.
