The radial piston pump comprises a housing (3) with cylinders (13) containing spring-loaded (19) pistons (15) driven by an eccentric (9). At the radially outer end of each cylinder, an outwardly closed (37,45) bore (23) in the housing contains an outlet valve closure member (31) spring-loaded (33) on to a seat (27). Inlet is via a duct (47) and a port (49) in the wall of each hollow piston. The outlet valve seat ring (27) is itself spring-loaded (39) onto a shoulder (25) in the bore (23) by a spring arranged between the ring (27) and the closure plug (37). The plug (37) is pref. sealed (43) in the bore (23) and may be screwed therein or secured by an adhesive.
