摘要
The mouthpiece for a brass wind instrument comprises a head (10) and a neck portion (12) for inserting into the tube end of the instrument. The central air duct (14) diverges into a bell shape in the head towards the open end which is surrounded by an annular embouchure rim (18). The inner wall (20) of the bell has a convex transition (22) into this rim. The end face (24) of this rim has a convex contour which extends over at least part (a) of the width of this rim and approximately equals the curvature radius of portion (b) of the inner wall (20).
