Atmospheric pressure transducer - produces analogue signal using bridge of strain gauges mounted on curved strain elements

The transducer converts atmospheric pressure into an analogue electrical signal and esp. for measurement of static pressure. It can be converted between static and dynamic pressure measurement modes with minimal changes. It can be made accurately with little cost and few parts using conventional technology. The measurement signal produced can be used for other control, avionic and navigational equipment. The strain gauges are connected into a full measurement bridge and the strain elements curved according to the voltage levels in the gas-filled transducer. The membrane and bending voltage components are acquired from separate strain elements. The transducer is with an additional opening if it is required to measure dynamic pressure. Mechanical temp. compensation may be used as well as conventional electronic compensation.
