ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSUREThis invention provides an improved oxydehydrogenationprocess for the production of tertiary-butylstyrene whichinvolves the contacting of a vapor phase mixture of tertiary-butylethylbenzene and oxygen with a novel coprecipitatedaluminum-calcium phosphate catalyst composition.The tertiary-butylstyrene is produced with a highconversion selectivity, and concomitantly there is little orno production of dialkenylbenzene byproducts.
