The invention relates to an aircraft having swept-forward wings (30) and tail control surfaces. The wings (30) are constructed from a fixed inner wing (20) and separate wing tips (21, 22) which are supported such that they can rotate freely. The rotation axes (25, 26) of the wing tips (21, 22) run in the direction of sweep of the wings (20). IMAGE
