The method of producing emulsions and suspensions with long-term stability is to feed the pre-metered starting components by means of two pumps operated in co-current to a dispersing device. The latter comprises a stationary, conical, toothed outer ring and a conical rotating body which rotates in the outer ring and is provided with teeth to match the teeth of the outer ring. At the same time, an annular grinding gap which tapers in the flow direction towards the outlet cross-section is formed as a result of the conicity of the outer ring and of the rotating body. Cavern-like recesses are formed by the teeth in the lateral boundary walls of the gap in order to produce wall-reflecting, annular turbulence zones. IMAGE
