According to Fig. 1 the invention relates to a device for attaching loads to the roadway support system in mining and tunnelling, in which the load is attached to a transverse pivot which is preferably designed as a round bolt and passes through the ends of two clamping legs enclosing the section flanges, in which arrangement the device is easier to attach and the support-section flanges are more favourably influenced by the clamping forces and the attached weight by the clamping legs (9, 10), which can be braced to the inside, being hung on a transverse-pin arrangement (22) which forms the pivot of a hinge, the movable part of which is the clamping legs (9, 10) and the fixed part of which is the support section (2), the flanges (4, 5) of which have transverse holes (20, 21) passing through them which accommodate the hinge joint pivot (27; 35, 36).
