The valve has a valve housing (1) seated releasably and in vertically adjustable fashion in a valve carrier (3) and having a conical valve seat (5) at the upper end, a valve stem (8) protruding beyond the bottom end of the valve housing (1) and having, at the top end, a valve cone (6) having a flat outer surface (7), and a valve spring (13) between the valve housing (1) and the valve stem (8). For the simple and rapid adjustment of the valve stroke, an adjusting part (10; 11) which is capable of fine adjustment in the axial direction and of being fixed and limits the valve stroke is provided on the valve stem (8) protruding from the valve housing (1).
