The invention relates to a safety locking device for fixing both sides of the wheel frame, which is provided with a slide (6) and can be folded up in the manner of scissors, of a pram/pushchair. Coupled to the stay (3) of the wheel frame is a two-armed pivoted lever (17) which, in the position of use, supports by its bent portion (23) the free end (13) of the slide (6), the free end (13) bearing against a lateral journal (14) of the stay (3) and thus being locked. The pivoted lever (17), which is under the effect of a spring (28), is rigidly connected by an operating bar (18) to the correspondingly designed pivoted lever on the other side of the wheel frame. In the position of use, the operating bar (18) lies underneath the base of the pram/pushchair superstructure or bears against the latter, so that the locking means can be released only after removing the pram/pushchair superstructure by the pivoting-up, which is then possible, of the operating bar (18). When the pram/pushchair superstructure is placed on the wheel frame, an intentional or unintentional release of the locking means is excluded, which results in a high degree of safety. IMAGE
