Device for reducing the development of noise in large (Rank Xerox) copiers, characterised in that all the disturbing noise sources of these systems are hindered in a primary fashion in the production of the sound waves and in a secondary fashion in the propagation thereof a) on the large copiers by means of transparent covers, punched parts of absorbing, insulating and damping materials, as well as with the aid of rubber skirts, rubber sealing profiles and acoustically treated sheet steel claddings, b) also by the integration of silencers on the loading and unloading openings of the systems, taking account of the perfect ergonomics and the design of the large Rank Xerox copiers.
