A cheese curd cutting device suitable for use in the production of white brined cheese or other sort cheeses comprises a first cutting head 4 equipped with rotable disc-shaped knives and mounted on a mobile rack 3 perpendicular to the internal spindle on which the knives are mounted; a second cutting head 8 equipped with rotatable radially located knives and mounted on the same mobile rack perpendicular to the internal spindle of the second head and behind the first head, as seen in the rack's direction of movement, wherein the internal spindles of both heads are mutually parallel; and a fixed knife 13 mounted on the rack between the first and second heads and carrying a blade parallel to the spindles of the first and second heads. There may be four such racks connected to a vertical spindle, which is centrally mounted for rotation in a cylindrical vat. As the device rotates, friction wheels on the internal spindles of the cutting heads contact the inner wall of the vat, thereby causing the knives to rotate. IMAGE
