Rack for laundry which has been or is to be ironed comprises a centre stand with racks which can be pivoted between horizontal and vertical positions. The stand comprises a U-shaped tube frame to each end of which is fixed a pair of horizontal arms which can be pivoted between horizontal and vertical positions. The arms are pref. mounted on the ends of the frame by means of inverted T-connectors. Each rack pref. consists of a grid surrounded by a U-shaped frame of which the free ends are bent at 90 degrees to form journals which engage in bearing holes in the side pieces of the centre sand. The rack is separate from the ironing board: when the ironing is finished, the board can be collapsed and put away while the laundry remains on the rack.
