Modular panels for making demountable pigeon-hole shelving, fit together by means of joints. Two primary panel modules are a floor or roof panel (1) and a long wall panel (6). These may be used with end panels. Rectangular edge cut outs (12) form complementary horizontally interlocking outlines on the opposed longitudinal edges. Projecting edge sectors (3) are slotted (5). A lug tenon (4) is in each corner zone. The long wall panels have a continuous channel (68) along the bottom edge and a series of square cut (62) tenons (7) projecting from the top edge. Adjacent floor panels thus interlock in plan, and are tied together by locating wall tenons (7) in floor panel slots (5). The base channel (68) of the succeeding wall panel then houses the tenons (5) and lugs (4).
