The tractor is coupled to one side of centre, and always runs wholly on still-unploughed land. The tractor coupling canbe turned over on itself (7a) to accommodate the turning of the beam. The coupling strut (7) is joined to the beam directly (8) and by a side strut (10, 11). The angle between the beam and the tractor coupling canbe altered by moving the side strut, using a hydraulic cylinder (14). To turn the beam over, the plough blades are lifted clear of the ground and the beam is drawn in until it lies against the tractor coupling (7). The outer sections of the beam are parallel with the central axis while the middle section is inclined.
