Resin impregnated compressed wood fibre board - covered with three paper layers of different porosity before compression to form smooth surface

Parent patent describes facing a compressed resin impregnated wood chip or wood fibre board with a paper support sheet which before being impregnated with resin and compressed has a porosity which is numerically equal at least to weight of the paper, and a paper barrier sheet whose porosity is numerically equal at least to twice the weight of the paper. According to the improvement the board is also covered with a decorative paper sheet whose porosity before impregnation and compression is =0.3 (pref. 0.6) times the numerical value of its weight. A smoother, better sealed surface is produced on the board.
