SECAM colour TV discriminator circuit - is controlled by logic circuit to decode input chrominance component to produce output colour signals

The colour discriminator circuit is for use in a S.E.C.A.M. system TV receiver. Chrominance signals are applied to a teminal (11) amplified (12) and delayed by one line period (13) prior to application to a commutating unit (14) which also receives the undelayed chrominance (14a). Commutations ore permutations of the colour components are performed under the control of circuit (15) containing logic elements. Control of circuit (15) occurs in response to inputs (23) (24) whereby colour outputs (14c) (14d) are derived for amplification (17)(16) and demodulation (18)(19).
