The flow energy operated power station is anchored to the seabed. This power station utilises tidal flow and also wave energy. The floating anchored island has, on its underside, turbines or screws which can be aligned in the flow direction. These turbines drive electricity generators. The platform carries water collection storage tanks filled by wave action. Th storage tanks are connected by ducting to the turbines. The platform can be steered to face the tidal water flow direction.
