The enclosed motor has two cooling systems. There is an internal system using air as the heat transfer medium and an external system using water as the heat transfer medium cooling the internal air. Fan blades (12) attached to the rotor circulate the air inside the closed motor forcing it through axial channels (7a, 8a) in the rotor and stator to the opposite end of the motor. The air returns to the fan via external pipes (13) cooled by a flowing-water jacket (1a).
