The system is designed to supervise, in a two-way transmission connection, repeaters having two distinct regenerator amplifiers (Ai1, Ai2). One amplifier is used in each transmission direction. In each repeater (Ri) is a controllable analogue gate (Pi) and at least a local oscillator (I-II). This local oscillator generates an identification frequency (Fi1 or Fi2). These frequencies fall in the pass band of one of the two amplifiers (Ai1, Ai2) of the repeater considered. A wide passband amplifier detector (Di) controls the analogue gate (Pi). An element (CC3) connects the input of the detector amplifier (Di) to the outputs of the regenerator amplifiers of the repeater considered (Ri).
