Penicillanic acid derivatives which have an excellent antibacterial action particularly against bacteria belonging to family Pseudomonas aeruginosa and are represented by the formula IMAGE wherein R1, R2, and R3 and n are as defined above, and salts thereof; and a process for preparing the same are disclosed.
