The book holder for handicapped people consists of a board with a hollow in which the book spine rests and two rubber rollers which hold the pages down. Each roller is connected to a wheel which turns the pages and helps to engage them under the other roller. Each roller is connected to lever joined by a bar on which a spring presses to press the rollers on the book. The spring and levers are also fixed to a support with an axle and toothed wheels engaging on racks to adjust the roller separation.
