摘要
The bottomless polygonal frame is for casting prefabricated concrete components, particularly panels, being placed on a flat surface before receiving a charge of mixed concrete. Each side of the frame is formed by a steel box-girder, consisting of two long sides (3,4) and two cross-members (5) of relatively thick rolled material. The cross-members are welded together to form a rectangle open on two opposite faces, and have holes (6,7) drilled in them at regular intervals and halfway up them. The sides are braced by one or more profiled sections (6) parallel to the cross-members but set back from the open faces of the girder.
