Articulated and telescopic hydraulic crane - has folding sections for high lift and long horizontal reach

The articulated hydraulic crane consists of two arms operated by hydraulic cylinders and a telescopic horizontal extension. The assembly is mounted on a turntable stabilised by a counter balance and stabilising legs to prevent overturning, and to prevent movement of the vehicle during operation. The hook is controlled by a hoist. This arrangement permits a greater height and in particular a longer horizontal reach than with conventional hydraulic cranes. The assembly can be mounted on a truck chassis as shown or on a trailer.
