The liquefied gas burner assembly contains a mixing chamber with a flame holder element, supplied through a U-tube evaporator connected to a gas source. The mixing chamber (2)is a short pipe embodying a plate (4) with orifices (5) along its length as the flameholder. The legs of the evaporator (1) are fixed along the same. The orifice diameters differ between the pipe upstream, middle and downstream sections (n1,n2,n3) being respectively pref. 0.06-0.08, 0.05-0.06 and 0.04-0.05 times the chamber bore, which is 0.03-0.05 times the length. The orifice numbers are pref. in the ratio 1:1.6:2.
