Furoindole cpds. of formula (I) are new. (Where R1 is H, (m)ethyl or isopropyl; R2 is H, Cl or CF3). In an example, furo(3,2-b)indole-2-(N-piperidinopropyl) carboxamide was prepd. from ethyl furo (3,2-b)indole-2-carboxylate via the acid, acid chloride and reaction with N-(3-aminopropyl)piperidine.
