The model comprises a preferably solid triangular base (1) made of hard plastics with a preferably flat front surface (2). The small figure (5) or model is fixed to the top of the base and is made of flexible material. The base has bars across (3,4) between which is a rigid support to which the message is affixed. A cavity in the base may contain a musical chime.
