Electronic calculator display scores in game contract bridge - uses pre-programmed calculator integrated circuit to accept data and perform various calculations on bridge scores

The calculator has keys to allow entry of numerical values from 0 to 13, the suit, whether each trick is above or below the contract, whether the contract is normal, double or redoubled, whether the team making the contract is vulnerable, and whether the game is free or in tournament. Further keys control entry and recall, together with the display of intermediate results at various stages of the game, including details of the contract and present points scored. The calculations are performed by an integrated circuit with pre-stored program in permanent memory. The display is on a liquid crystal panel (102) and the assembly housed in a pocket calculator style enclosure.
