The wall-mounted assembly includes a collapsible bench top (O) with storage and shelving etc. The shelving components (0-4) are mounted one above the other and hook onto posts (5) of a square hollow section or similar. Rubber clad cleats or spacer blocks may set the posts away from the wall. The cupboard (4), the backboard (3), the rack (1) and the shelf (2) being height adjustable by virtue of their hooked mounting. The bench top may be mounted on sleeves (8) which slide along posts (5) to be secured by cotter pin at the required height, and may pivot against the wall once hinged brackets (9) are retracted. Alternatively pin-jointed height-adjustable front legs may support the top.
