The device (1) fits on a vehicle roof and protects loads of semi rigid, publicity type material. It also positions and fixes it and is made of a type of rubber. It is integral with a flat face (1) and another face (2) perpendicular to it and a short lip (3) parallel to the first face. On the other edge is a flat face (4) sloping inwards and ending in a lip (5) extending both inwards and upwards and perpendicular to its first flat face (4). These parts can hold a profile. At the top is a slot (6) to carry a strap (7) with an end buckle.
