Parent patent described an appts. having a cradle which can grip the mould and rotate it through 180 deg. to either of two positions, viz. a waiting position where a mould lid is automatically released and removed and an inverted position where the prod. is demoulded and delivered to a receiver, e.g. a discharge conveyor. In this addn., the cradle is now double-sided to grip two moulds simultaneously, diametrically opposed about the axis of rotation, i.e. with one mould in the waiting position as the other mould is in the inverted position. Pref. the cradle is rotated alternately between its two positions, e.g. by a rotary jack. The alternation of the positions is pref. controlled automatically in accordance with a preselected programme which takes account of sequence sensors of the cradle framework. The double-sided cradle offers a much higher demoulding rate, virtually double, than the single sided cradle.
