Master clock controlling ringing of bells - displays both actual time and programmed time and utilises peripheral memories which are user programmed to obtain hour quarter hour rings
The master clock is used to control slave clocks e.g. public and publicity clocks and the starting of bells ringing. The master clock contains a quartz clock controlled from a display device. A switch changes the displayed time from the actual time to the programmed time. The master clock includes also a programming unit (e.g. a C.P.U.) controlled by pannel switches. The possible functions are the indication of the hours and the quarters as programmed by the user. Each of the output channels is programmed using Leds. The programming unit also controls the slave clocks. In case of mains failure the quartz clock is powered by a battery.
