Wishbone boom connector to sail-board mast - has slider-on-guide rail coupling between boom end piece and sleeve around mast

The arrangement for connecting a wishbone boom to a sailboard mast is basically conventional, using a formed end-piece into which the boom's legs fit with means for holding the mast. However the mast (4) has a tightly-fitting sleeve (5) slid onto it, pref. over a flexible liner (5a); a profiled, pref. T-section, longitudinal guide-rail (6) with a stop (6a) at the bottom is formed on this sleeve. Over that, closely, fits a slider (7) connected to the end-piece, pref. via a transverse pin, by a bolt through a hole (10) in the latter and held on the other side.
