METHOD AND TRADE FOR THE PRODUCTION OF VOLUNTARY FIBER BAND CASSURE IN TWIN BANDING OF FIBERS

This method makes it possible to obtain breakings in sequence of two fiber tapes (11', 12') exiting the drafting device one beside the other and not being twisted. Both tapes are fed towards a union point (13) and from this point they continue twisted together and in the form of a wire (14) toward a twisting bobbin (15) or similar so that the breaking of one tape causes the breaking of the other tape. According to the invention, in order to trigger the breakings with simple and safe construction means, this method is carried out so that the lateral displacement of the two-band assembly (11', 12') of fibers caused by the breaking of one of the two tapes fed to the bobbin or similar drives the assembly (14') into a slit (22, 23) which grips it and causes the breaking of the other tape of fibers (12', 11'). The invention also describes a spinning and twisting machine for implementing this method.
