The hinge comprises a rod shaped slider (7) which is hinged by one of its ends to the frame of the spectacles. The slider (7) is slidable within a seating (8) formed in the rod (2) and is provided with a hole (9) coaxial with the seating (8). The slider (7) is further provided with a longitudinal slot through which passes a small block (11) fixed to the walls of the seating (8). A spring (13) is inserted within the hole (9) between the small block (11) and the opposite end (9a) of said hole (9). The hinge permits the rod (2) to have a stable positioning both in the folded condition for putting away the spectacles, and in the open condition for wearing them, as well as the facility to be opened out resiliently.
